About us.
At Sketchnotes UK, we turn complicated ideas into clear and engaging visuals. We call them sketchnotes — hand-drawn visual notes that mix drawings, words, and layout to show key messages in a simple and memorable way.
We help our clients share their message more clearly by turning talks, workshops, events, focus groups, reports, ideas and more into eye-catching visuals that make it easier to understand and remember.
Whether you're a business owner, teacher, or event planner, our sketchnotes help your message stand out and connect with your audience.

Our team.
Mandy Johnson used to be a CEO—but don’t hold that against her. She’s swapped balance sheets for sketchpads, turning sprawling strategies into one page of genius that actually makes sense. She can take a 200-page report, find the real point, draw it memorably—and still land the punchline before your coffee goes cold. Equal parts strategist, artist, and mischief-maker, Mandy makes big ideas clever, human, and doodle-approved.

Becky Ullah is a former doctor who swapped her stethoscope for a sketchbook—proving anatomy and artistry aren’t that far apart (though sketching a pancreas rarely comes up at conferences). She has the unflappable calm of someone who’s seen things you really don’t want to Google and the razor-sharp focus to turn complex explanations into visual stories that actually make sense. She sketches like a ninja, plans like a strategist, and somehow makes it all look effortless..

Together, they’re like Simon & Garfunkel with pens (and maybe a touch of karate with highlighters). Two brains, four hands, one gloriously ridiculous mission: making ideas visual, human, and engaging. From live conferences to turning 80-slide PowerPoints into sketchnotes you’d actually consider framing for your wall, Mandy and Becky draw with empathy, energy—and the kind of chemistry that could probably power a small city (if only they’d stop arguing over whose pen is faster).
